On Thursday I was welcomed at the Burberry clash show held by the second year (international) Fashion and Design students from AMFI. The assignment was to make an extensional line for Burberry aiming on street wear. The designs had to have a sustainable touch since this is such an important factor in fashion now.
The result: 30 unique designs, all fitting into the Burberry heritage. What impressed me the most were the jackets. The jackets were made exquisite and very wearable.
The highlight? Lot's of metallic fabrics, sheer fabrics and a lot of hand-made details.
